The course is intended to familiarize the measurement of deformations with the strain gages. The measuring method is used to determine deformations on different materials for investigation for new elements or control of already used ones. The method is also used for the construction of sensors for the measurement of different physical values.
The display consists of the following hinges:
- Introduction of use and historical development of measuring method.
- Theoretical principles of the operation of deformation measurement.
- Selection of the appropriate measurement strain gage.
- The process of preparing the measurement site and application of the strain gage.
- Connecting with instrumental equipment and valuation of measured data.
• Understand the basic principle of operation of measuring sheets.
• Understand the principle of operation of the Wheatstone bridge.
• Know how to choose the appropriate type of measuring sheet.
• Know the necessary tools and additional material for the application of the measuring sheet.
• Understand the connection to the instrumentation for capturing measurement results.

In the scope of the work, research is also carried out on the management of non-linear electrical and mechanical systems, as well as the design and implementation of mechanical and electrical measurements for development, control, and maintenance.
